In this context, a mourning rally was organized, dedicated to the soldiers who gave their lives in the fight against international terrorist groups in Batken and Chon-Alai from 1999 to 2000.
The solemn ceremony was attended by the akim of Uzgen, Kanibek Apbasov, heads of various institutions and organizations, veterans, military personnel, and local residents.
Participants of the event laid flowers at the graves of the heroes who fell in the Batken and Chon-Alai conflicts and recited prayers in their honor.
