The #23for23 Campaign for Snow Leopard Protection Gathered 101 Million People

In honor of International Snow Leopard Day, the #23for23 campaign saw participation from 101 million people across nine countries. This was reported by the International Snow Leopard Conservation Fund on October 27.

The idea behind the event "#23for23: 23 Minutes for Snow Leopards" is to dedicate 23 minutes to physical activity as a sign of support for efforts to protect the snow leopard.

101 million social media users participated in the campaign, and support for the event was expressed by nine out of the twelve countries where the snow leopard resides, including India, Pakistan, Russia, Mongolia, Bhutan, Nepal, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, and Kyrgyzstan.

More than 700 organizations joined this movement, including the UN, UNEP, and WWF.
