The decline in the population of one of the rarest animal species in the world - the snow leopard - is a serious problem for the countries where they inhabit.
Kyrgyzstan is one of those countries. The dissemination of comprehensive information and limited cultural and educational work contributes to the formation of public opinion,
in which this problem is considered insignificant, although, in reality, everything is exactly the opposite. The photo project "We are for the preservation of the snow leopard" aims to draw attention to such issues; it is the first information campaign against poaching, hunting, and creating favorable conditions for the reproduction of this endangered species.
As part of the project, over 200 people participated in a themed photo session with the image of the snow leopard superimposed on half of their face.
There are only about 2,000 snow leopards left in the world, and around 280 individuals in Kyrgyzstan. Protect nature and animals!
