The goal of the event was to draw public attention to the growing problem of cancer in Kyrgyzstan, as well as to emphasize the importance of prevention and early detection, which can save lives.
The event was attended by the mayor of the capital, Aibek Junushaliev, women who have overcome cancer or are currently undergoing treatment, oncologists from the National Oncology Center, as well as representatives of the Municipal Enterprise "Zelenstroy," who provided seedlings and necessary tools.
Participants discussed the increasing number of cancer cases in Kyrgyzstan, noting that one of the main issues is late detection, which leads to high mortality rates.
