
From October 29 to November 1, residents and guests of the city will be able to enjoy films of various genres — from war dramas to animated films and science fiction.
The festival program includes the following films:
- “Love of the Soviet Union” — a film about a generation that dreamed of a new, fulfilling life full of love and discoveries;
- “Not on the List” — a war drama telling the story of the heroism of the defenders of the Brest Fortress in the early days of the war;
- “Kraken” — an adventure fantasy about the search for a missing submarine and a confrontation with a sea monster;
- “Doctor Dinosaur” — a family animation about a schoolboy who accidentally opens a portal to the Mesozoic era;
- “First on Olympus” — a sports drama about a young blockade survivor, Yuri Tyukalov, who became an Olympic champion.
The festival opening will take place at the “Manas” cinema with a screening of the war drama “August,” directed by Nikita Vysotsky and Ilya Lebedev. The film tells about the activities of Soviet counterintelligence agents in the summer of 1944.
