In Naryn Region, three more villages have been added to the list of high-altitude settlements

In the Naryn region, in the Ak-Tal district, the category of high-altitude territories has been expanded to include three new settlements. This was reported by Kanibek Esenaliev, the deputy akim of the district.

As Esenaliev noted, this decision was made based on a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers and in accordance with the law "On State Guarantees and Compensations for Persons Living and Working in High-Altitude and Remote Hard-to-Reach Areas." Now, three villages have been added to the list of high-altitude settlements.

Previously, this list included:

- in the ayil aimak Bayetov — the villages of Bayetov, Kayindy-Bulak, and Terek;

- in the ayil aimak Kara-Burgon — the villages of Ak-Chiy and Kara-Burgon;

- in the ayil aimak Ala-Buga — the villages of Zherge-Tal and Kosh-Dobo;

- in the ayil aimak Togolok Moldо — the village of Kadyraly.

Now, they have been joined by:

- in the ayil aimak Kara-Burgon — the village of Zhanı-Tilek;

- in the ayil aimak Ala-Buga — the villages of Kongoрchok and Choloк-Kayin.

In the Ak-Talaa district, there are 4 ayil aimaks and 18 villages, of which 11 are officially recognized as high-altitude.

In total, 430 settlements are now included in the list of high-altitude zones of Kyrgyzstan.
