Representatives of the Ton District State Administration attended the celebration, congratulating culture workers on their professional holiday and presenting honorary certificates and letters of appreciation.
The celebration was held in the recently renovated House of Culture, for which 11 million 479.7 thousand soms were allocated from the republican budget for restoration.
Employees of the district library opened the event with an exhibition dedicated to the history of the book. Then, the audience was delighted by an ensemble of komuz players from the Bokonbaev Children's Music School.
During the celebration, artists from the House of Culture presented a play titled "Taarynbaңыз, kайнене" ("Don't be offended, mother-in-law") and held a festive concert.
