Cases of concealing revenue were discovered in a cafe in Bishkek

In Bishkek, employees of the State Tax Service of the Kyrgyz Republic conducted inspection activities in cafes using fiscal software (FSO) that transmits sales information to tax authorities.

These checks were part of a pilot project for the implementation of the mentioned system.

During the raids at the well-known cafe chain "Kuldja HOGO," significant violations were discovered. In three establishments owned by the same owner, unregistered programs were used for "shadow" accounting, indicating that part of the revenue was not reflected in the official system.

Additionally, it became known that payments were made through QR codes registered to individuals rather than to a legal entity.

Cash was also found in the cash registers that did not have confirming fiscal receipts.

According to preliminary estimates, since the connection to the FSO, the total amount of concealed revenue has reached about 12 million soms, with the estimated unpaid taxes amounting to approximately 648 thousand soms.

It is important to note that the use of double accounting and concealment of income is a serious violation of legislation. Such actions are subject to liability measures, including fines and criminal responsibility in the presence of signs of a crime.

The tax service continues to conduct inspections.
