
In the Osh region, in the village of Sary-Tash, located in the Aravan district, the construction of a solar power station with a capacity of 105 MW is planned on an area of 200 hectares.
Today, during a working trip to the Aravan district, Amanakan Kenzhebaev, the head of the Osh region, got acquainted with the land allocated for the project and held a meeting with relevant specialists.
Funding for the construction will be provided by foreign investors, and the total cost of the project will amount to $65 million.
The first works will begin in the spring, and the first phase includes the installation of solar panels with a capacity of over 15 MW. The completion of construction in the second phase will achieve a total capacity of 105 MW, with about 450,000 panels to be installed.
The project will also create 35 permanent jobs for local residents. The head of the region confirmed his support for the investors' initiative and promised comprehensive assistance in the implementation of the project.
