




On February 13, an important meeting of the ministers of energy and water resources of Central Asian countries—Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Tajikistan—took place in the capital of Uzbekistan, Tashkent. This information was provided by the Ministry of Energy of Kyrgyzstan.
Among the participants of the meeting was the Minister of Energy of Kyrgyzstan, Talaybek Ibraev, as well as his colleagues from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Tajikistan. Additionally, leaders and specialists from energy companies in these countries gathered.
During the discussions, special attention was paid to multilateral cooperation, which has been actively developing thanks to the initiatives of the presidents of partner countries in recent years, especially in the fuel and energy sector.
Furthermore, the meeting detailed issues concerning the safe passage of the autumn-winter period, ensuring the stable operation of water-energy systems, and deepening mutual cooperation. The participants agreed on the work schedules of the networks.
