Two Farmers from Chuy Region Achieved Record Yields: 120,000 Kilograms of Tomatoes and 80,000 Kilograms of Carrots per Hectare

On February 18, at the forum "Agrodialog–2026," organized by the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Food Processing Industry, the achievements of the country's leading agrarians were showcased.

As part of this event, two representatives from the Chui region were awarded the title of "champions" in the field of crop production.

Among them:

- Askar Tokushev, a farmer from the Jayil district, who set a record for tomato yield — 1200 centners per hectare.

- Shamil Magaza, a farmer from the Moscow district, who harvested 800 centners of carrots per hectare, which also earned him the title of champion.

Additionally, another farmer was presented at the forum, who achieved outstanding results in growing "Iceberg" lettuce and pumpkins, using seeds brought from Japan. He applied effective agro-technologies and a high-quality seed fund, which allowed him to achieve high results and also be recognized as a champion.
