We analyzed which cities in the country have the highest salad prices and compared this year's data with last year's and the figures recorded six years ago.
Prices Over the Past Year
This year, there has been an increase in prices for products such as sausage, carrots, cucumbers, potatoes, and peas. The only exceptions are eggs and mayonnaise, the prices of which have decreased. Thus, in December 2024, the average cost of all the ingredients needed for five servings of Olivier salad was 524 soms, which is 19 soms more compared to last year (505 soms).The prices for canned cucumbers and peas were taken as uniform for the entire country due to a lack of specific information. Data on eggs and potatoes were collected on December 29, 2025, while the prices for the other ingredients were assessed based on average figures at the end of November.
Historical Price Data for Salad
Over the past six years, Kaktus.media has been tracking the cost of one serving of Olivier salad. This data indicates that during this time, the salad has increased in price by 122 soms, which is almost a third of the previous price. However, the record-high cost of Olivier was recorded in 2023, when it approached 600 soms.
