Price Changes Over the Past Year
Throughout the year, there has been a rise in prices for sausage, carrots, cucumbers, potatoes, and peas. The exceptions were mayonnaise and eggs, for which prices decreased. Thus, the average cost of ingredients for five servings of Olivier in December 2024 was 524 soms, which is 19 soms more than the previous year (505 soms).The prices for canned peas and cucumbers were taken into account based on national data, as regional data is unavailable. At the same time, the cost of potatoes and eggs was determined based on data from December 29, 2025, while the other ingredients were evaluated based on average figures from November.
Price History of the Salad
For the past six years, Kaktus.media has been tracking the cost of one serving of Olivier. The data shows that during this period, the price has increased by almost 122 soms, which is about one-third of the original cost. However, it was in 2023 that Olivier reached its highest price point, nearly hitting 600 soms.
