There were many responses.Bakytbek Shokenov, Deputy Chairman of the National Statistics Committee, reported at a press conference in Bishkek that in the recent period, prices have risen the most for fresh fruits, fish, vegetable and butter, meat, honey, fresh vegetables, milk, flour, non-alcoholic beverages, potatoes, and bread.

The largest increase in consumer prices was recorded in Osh - by 9%, which is related to the rise in prices for alcoholic and tobacco products (by 12.1%), Shokenov clarified.
In the Chui region, prices for food products and non-alcoholic beverages rose by 10.5%, while non-food products in the Batken region increased by 8.1%. Tariffs for services for the population in Bishkek increased by 10.4%.
To combat inflation, the authorities of Kyrgyzstan have taken a number of measures, including extending state regulation of meat prices, strengthening control over gasoline prices, and raising the key rate of the National Bank. However, despite these measures, the rise in food prices remains one of the main concerns of citizens, especially against the backdrop of rising fuel prices and the approaching New Year.
