In particular, there was a recorded increase in prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages by 7.4%, for alcoholic beverages and tobacco products by 6.7%, and for non-food goods by 5.6%.
The highest price increase was observed in Osh, where the growth amounted to 9%, which is associated with the rise in prices for alcoholic and tobacco products by 12.1%, Shokenov added.
In the Chui region, the most significant increase in prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages was noted at 10.5%, while in the Batken region, non-food goods rose in price by 8.1%. In Bishkek, tariffs for services for the population increased by 10.4%.
