The highest price increase was observed in the services sector, where prices rose by 8.9 percent. Food and non-alcoholic beverages became 7.4 percent more expensive, alcohol and tobacco increased by 6.7 percent, and non-food goods rose by 5.6 percent.
Inflation has affected all regions of the country.
The highest inflation rate was recorded in Osh, where it reached 9 percent. Representatives of the National Statistical Committee noted that this is related to the rise in prices for alcoholic beverages and tobacco products, which increased by 12.1 percent.
In the Chui region, prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages increased by 10.5 percent, while in the Batken region, non-food goods became 8.1 percent more expensive.
Across the republic, the cost of services rose by 10.4 percent.
The National Statistical Committee emphasizes that price dynamics are influenced by both internal and external factors.
