
Analysis shows that the growth of industrial production during the specified period was driven by increased output in several sectors. For example, pharmaceutical products doubled, rubber and plastic products, as well as construction materials, increased by 33.8%. There was also an increase in the production of food products (including beverages) and tobacco products by 33.6%, while the textile and garment industry saw a growth of 9.4%.
The construction sector also demonstrates positive dynamics, increasing by 27.7%. At the same time, retail and wholesale trade grew by 8.7%, and agriculture showed a growth of 2.0%.
As for consumer prices and tariffs, from January to October 2025, there was an overall increase of 7.1% compared to December 2024. In particular, prices for food products and non-alcoholic beverages increased by 7.4%, alcohol and tobacco products by 6.7%, and non-food goods by 5.6%. Tariffs for services to the population rose by 8.9%.
The rise in consumer prices is observed in all regions of the country. The largest price increase (9.0%) was recorded in the city of Osh, which is associated with the rise in prices for alcoholic beverages and tobacco products by 12.1%. Chui region noted the highest growth in prices for food products and non-alcoholic beverages (10.5%), while in Batken region, non-food goods increased by 8.1%, and in Bishkek, services to the population rose by 10.4%.
Kyrgyzstan's external and mutual trade in goods from January to September 2025 amounted to 11,269.8 million US dollars, which is 8.3% less than in the same period of 2024. Exports decreased by 25.7%, while imports fell by 3.0%.
Mutual trade with EAEU countries during the same period amounted to 3,845.8 million US dollars, which is also 5.3% less than in 2024. In the structure of trade with the EAEU, the largest share was accounted for by Russia (65.8%) and Kazakhstan (31.8%).
