If we exclude data on the production of Kumtor, the growth in industrial production volume was 21.3%. The processing industry, which contributed the most to the total volume (470 billion soms), showed a growth of 7.9%.
In the mining segment, the production volume amounted to 57 billion soms, corresponding to an increase of 17.1%. The production of electricity, gas, and steam reached 62 billion soms (+15%), while water supply and waste disposal saw a growth of 24.6%, totaling 6 billion soms.
The increase in the processing industry is associated with the growth in production in the following sectors:
- pharmaceuticals — doubled,
- food products (including pasta — increased by 1.5 times and canned vegetables and fruits — by 19.5%),
- beverages (non-alcoholic — increased by 1.5 times, alcoholic — by 29%),
- rubber products and plastics — +38.6%,
- construction materials — +33.4%,
- chemical products — +19%,
- textiles — +9.4%.
As for flour, its production increased by 9.7%, totaling 237 thousand tons, while cement production rose by 31.5%, reaching 3.61 million tons.
