In Kyrgyzstan, bank lending has increased by more than a third, - National Bank

- As of the end of August 2025, the volume of bank lending in Kyrgyzstan exceeded 447 billion soms, which represents an increase of more than 30%. This information was announced on October 29, 2025, by the Deputy Chairman of the National Bank, Azat Kozubekov, at a press conference in Bishkek.

Kozubekov also noted that the deposit base of banks increased by more than 25% during the same period, reaching 741 billion soms.

He added that in the future, the dynamics in the financial sector will depend on external factors.

“The National Bank will determine the discount rate taking into account economic trends and the external economic situation. We will continue to adhere to a balanced approach in monetary policy,” he emphasized.
