In the Jumgal district, in the village of Aral, the construction of a new northern transport control point on the North-South highway is planned. This decision was announced during a meeting of the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
According to information from the ministry, this point will contribute to improving road safety, as well as monitoring compliance with weight and dimension standards for freight vehicles, which will help prevent damage to the road surface.
In addition, the new initiative will reduce the number of illegal and excessive freight transport, preserve road infrastructure, and strengthen order in the transport sector.
Furthermore, the ministry plans a phased major renovation of existing control points across the country, which have not been updated for a long time.
The construction and repair work will be financed from the Stabilization Fund, which was established by presidential decree.
