In the next four to five years, the price level for meat in Kyrgyzstan is expected to remain high. This was reported by Uran Chekirbaev, head of the food security department of the Ministry of Agriculture, during a broadcast of the program "Elden Sobol" on the news agency "Kabar".
He noted that the ministry is making efforts to prevent a sharp rise in prices for meat products by conducting constant monitoring and analysis of the cost of key food items. "Among the measures aimed at curbing prices, a temporary ban on the export of livestock from Kyrgyzstan was introduced in August of last year. We are also providing support to farmers through various subsidies and credit lines specifically designed for farmers engaged in livestock breeding," Chekirbaev added.
