At a press conference, the Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, Azat Kozubekov, reported that the government is actively working to reduce the impact of sanctions imposed by the European Union against several banks in the country. He noted that the joint efforts of the Cabinet of Ministers and the National Bank are aimed at a consistent and systematic resolution of this issue.
According to him, the measures being taken help to minimize the negative consequences associated with these sanctions packages. Kozubekov also emphasized that such sanctions affect not only Kyrgyzstan but also other countries in the region.
