
At a press conference, the Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan, Azat Kozubekov, spoke about the government's actions aimed at reducing the negative consequences of European Union sanctions affecting the country's banking sector.
He noted that there is consistent work being carried out by the cabinet of ministers and the National Bank in this area. "Everything that is being done by government agencies is aimed at minimizing the negative impact of the sanctions," Kozubekov added.
Furthermore, he emphasized that not only the Kyrgyz Republic is facing such sanctions, but other countries in the region are also experiencing similar effects.
