At a recent meeting of the Committee of the Jogorku Kenesh dedicated to finance and business development, Deputy Ismanali Joroev raised an important issue regarding the problems Kyrgyzstan faces when exporting goods to EAEU states.
He noted that difficulties continue at the border with Kazakhstan, manifested in long queues of trucks.
Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce Sultan Akhmatov explained that the main reasons for the delays are internal processes in Russia and Kazakhstan, which negatively affect transit and throughput capacity.
In addition, he reported that in case of violations of EAEU norms, the Kyrgyz side plans to appeal to the Eurasian Economic Commission to protect its interests.
