On March 16, an important meeting took place in Chengdu, China, attended by Jusubali Toromamatov, the trade representative at the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan, and Li Yuping, the deputy director of the Bureau of Commerce of Sichuan Province.
According to the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, the main focus of the negotiations was on expanding economic and trade cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Chengdu.
Toromamatov also spoke about the tourism potential of Kyrgyzstan, emphasizing the opportunities arising from direct flights between Chengdu and Bishkek.
Among the significant outcomes of the meeting was the agreement to work together on the opening of the "Trade House of Kyrgyzstan" and the "Kyrgyz-Chinese Center for Trade and Economic Cooperation" in Chengdu.
The establishment of these institutions is aimed at ensuring year-round presentation and sale of environmentally friendly products from Kyrgyzstan, as well as developing business ties between entrepreneurs from both countries, as reported in the press release.
