On March 26-27, a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council is scheduled to take place in Shymkent. The Prime Ministers of the Eurasian Economic Union countries will discuss about 15 important issues. This information was announced during a press conference at the "Kabar" agency by Kanybek uulu Elimbek, head of the EAEU Coordination Department.
One of the central topics of the meeting will be the introduction of changes to the cooperation conditions. Elimbek noted that within the framework of the updated regulations, special criteria and more simplified mechanisms for project selection will be implemented.
The agenda will also include issues related to additional payments proposed by the commissions within the framework of macroeconomic policy.
As Elimbek emphasized, each participating country must annually present analytical reports on the current state of affairs in the Union and formulate its own forecasts for its development.
