In the Chuy region, in the mountainous area of the Moscow district, the process of concreting three kilometers of an irrigation canal is underway. This was reported by Ramis Myrsabashiev, the chief engineer of the local water management authority.

The work is being carried out on a canal located in the mountains between the villages of Keper-Aryk and Sıydały (Chong-Aryk) in the Ak-Suy rural district. The chief engineer noted that the concreting is aimed at ensuring a stable supply of irrigation water for agricultural lands and creating comfortable conditions for farmers. In total, the concrete covering is being laid over an area of about 10,000 square meters, corresponding to a length of three kilometers. Currently, the concreting of a 700-meter section has been completed. Once all the work is finished, 600 hectares of agricultural land in the Ak-Suy rural area will receive irrigation water,” Myrsabashiev shared the details.

Additionally, he clarified that this work is being carried out as part of a program implemented by the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry.
