- As of September 30, 2025, the liabilities of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic reached 569 billion 911 million soms, according to information provided by the regulator.

This is an increase of 29.9% compared to the same date of the previous year.

As of June 30, 2025, the liabilities amounted to 555 billion 270 million 383 thousand soms, which also reflects an annual growth of 30%.

Key reasons for the increase in liabilities:

- Funds from the Cabinet of Ministers increased by 19%

- Liabilities on Special Drawing Rights (SDRs) received from the IMF as part of the allocation grew by 65.2%

- Funds from banks and other financial institutions increased by 55.4%.

Special Drawing Rights (SDRs) are artificial reserve and settlement assets issued by the International Monetary Fund (IMF). They exist only in non-cash form and are represented by entries in bank accounts, without the issuance of cash.
