According to the data, during the specified period, the banks' loan portfolio increased by 10.5%, resulting in a total of 460.6 billion soms (+35.2% since the beginning of the year). The main factor for this growth was the increase in loans in the national currency (+10.8%), which amounted to 378.6 billion soms. The leading sectors remain consumer loans, loans for the real sector, and mortgage lending.
The National Bank noted that "the active participation of the population and businesses contributes to the growth of the loan portfolio in the national currency over the nine months of 2025."
Loans in foreign currency also showed positive dynamics with an increase of 9.1%, with the largest contribution to this growth coming from loans issued for trade and commercial operations (+9.9%).
