The initiator of this draft law was the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers.
The Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce, Sultan Akhmatov, presented information about the document.
The purpose of the draft law is to establish and improve legal norms in the halal industry.
According to Akhmatov, the halal industry in the Kyrgyz Republic is actively developing.
"Given the growing interest in halal products and services, as well as the need to protect consumer rights and ensure fair competition, it is necessary to implement stricter controls and clear legal norms to regulate this area," he emphasized.
