Deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh Marlen Mamataliyev has initiated a bill that proposes a ban on the sale of alcoholic beverages from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM. This document has been submitted for public discussion.
According to Mamataliyev, the only places where the sale of alcohol will be permitted should be cafes, bars, restaurants, and duty-free zones.
In addition, the deputy proposes to completely ban the sale of alcoholic, low-alcohol, and tonic non-alcoholic beverages in central squares, parks, squares, recreational areas, and entertainment complexes, as well as within a radius of 100 meters from these locations.
