According to the proposed amendments, the retail sale of alcohol will be prohibited from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM, with the following exceptions:
- the sale of alcohol by organizations and individual entrepreneurs that provide catering services and are agricultural producers;
- the sale of beer, cider, mead, and other low-alcohol beverages by individual entrepreneurs within the catering sector;
- the sale of alcoholic products in duty-free shops for individuals leaving the territory of Kyrgyzstan.
In addition, the bill includes a ban on the sale of alcoholic beverages, as well as low-alcohol and non-alcoholic tonic drinks in central squares of cities and in parks, squares, and recreational areas, including amusement parks, within a radius of 100 meters from their boundaries.
