As a result of the forgery of local government documents, 43 individuals illegally received land plots totaling 10 hectares and 75 ares in the Kara-Buurin rural municipality, located in the Aitmatov district of the Talas region. This was reported by the State National Security Committee (GKNB) of Kyrgyzstan.
According to available operational data, a total of 56 land plots were issued illegally in a similar manner.
A specialist from the Aitmatov branch of the State Agency for Land Resources, Cadastre, Geodesy, and Cartography, E.A.T., attempted to bribe an official to stop the investigation against him and avoid responsibility.
On January 20, 2026, E.A.T. was detained while attempting to bribe an employee of the GKNB with 100,000 soms as part of a criminal case that had been initiated.

Currently, the suspect has been placed in a temporary detention facility. Investigative actions are underway to establish his involvement in the committed crime and to identify other officials who may have been involved in these illegal activities.
