The Border Service of the State National Security Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic is diligently working to ensure law and order and safety for foreign citizens, which in turn helps to form a positive image of Kyrgyzstan as an open and safe state.
In 2025, Kyrgyzstan noted a significant increase in the number of foreign citizens crossing its borders.
Compared to 2024, the inflow of entrants increased by 18.6%, and compared to 2023, by 20%. These figures confirm the growing interest in Kyrgyzstan as a destination for tourism and business activities.
The statistics on the number of foreign citizens who visited Kyrgyzstan are as follows:

• 2024 — 17,682,929 people (an increase of 1.2%);
• 2025 — 20,978,965 people (+18.6% compared to 2024).
This growth in the number of tourists in 2025 is attributed to the development of tourism infrastructure, the expansion of international transport routes, and the active promotion of the country's natural and cultural resources, as well as an increase in business and investment ties.
