An foreign citizen A. K., born in 1986, was also detained in Bishkek, thanks to the work of the video surveillance system "Safe City." He was wanted internationally on charges of fraud and was taken to the Investigative Service of the Internal Affairs Department of the Pervomaisky District.
In addition, a citizen S. V., born in 1988, was arrested at Manas International Airport while attempting to enter Kyrgyzstan. He was wanted for facilitating illegal entry and stay of foreign citizens, fraudulently obtaining and using counterfeit administrative documents, as well as participating in a criminal community, as provided by the criminal legislation of France. After his arrest, he was taken to the Investigative Service of the Internal Affairs Department of the Sokuluk District in the Chui Region.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasizes that the work to identify and detain individuals wanted internationally is ongoing and is one of the priority areas of law enforcement activities. The measures taken allow for the quick establishment of the whereabouts of those sought and the adoption of appropriate procedural decisions in accordance with the legislation.
