The bill regarding the mutual provision of land plots and buildings for the needs of the embassies of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan was approved by the Jogorku Kenesh in three readings. This important decision will help strengthen diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Deputy Foreign Minister Almaz Imangaziev reported that the bill will legally formalize the agreement on the transfer.

According to him, Kazakhstan will provide land for the construction of a new embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Astana for a period of 49 years: this will include a plot of 12 acres and a building with an area of 1267 square meters. In turn, Kyrgyzstan will transfer to Kazakhstan a plot of 75 acres on Chyngyz Aitmatov Avenue in Bishkek, where the embassy of Kazakhstan is located, as well as a cottage with an area of 531 square meters in the residential complex "Ala-Archa."
