According to the information from the department, the inspections were conducted based on a protocol directive adopted following a meeting of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, which took place on December 30, 2025. These activities were aimed at strengthening control over the handling of firearms and were named "Arsenal".
During the raid activities, an inventory of civilian firearms was carried out, ammunition was checked, as well as weapons issued as awards, and compliance with storage regulations was monitored.
As a result of the actions taken by the regional police, 51 units of firearms were seized, including: 9 rifled, 37 smoothbore, 4 gas-traumatic, and 1 award weapon.
