An incident occurred in the Ala-Archa gorge involving a tourist who fell while attempting to conquer the summit of Baychekekey.

This incident took place on February 1.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, a rescue team of five members from the "Edelweiss" unit successfully evacuated the injured Ukrainian tourist from the Ratsek climbing camp and transported him to Hospital No. 4 in Bishkek.

"A call for help was received at service 112 for a tourist who fell while climbing to the summit of Baychekekey in the Ala-Archa gorge," the agency reported.
