Salmurbek Uulu Azat relieved of his duties as mayor of the city of Kara-Balta

Salmurbek uulu Azat is no longer the mayor of Kara-Balta, located in the Chui region.

According to information provided by Turmush, the decree for his dismissal was signed by President Sadyr Japarov on February 4, 2026.

Salmurbek uulu Azat took office as mayor on October 14, 2025.

Prior to this, starting from 2023, he served as the first deputy mayor in the city of Tokmok.
