In the village of Arpa-Sai, located in the Kadamjai district of the Batken region, local resident Abdygany Karabashev assembled a tractor from parts taken from "Daewoo Tico" and "Zhiguli" cars over three months. This invention is intended to ease the labor of farming, as nearly all the villagers engage in agriculture.

According to Abdygany, his tractor is compact, making it ideal for working in the garden: it easily maneuvers between trees.

“I have a garden area of 30 hundredths, and I built this convenient tractor to make work easier. The engine and transmission are from the 'Daewoo Tico', the rear part and brakes are from the 'Zhiguli'. The main cylinder is also from the 'Tico', and the tires are tractor-sized, 25 inches. I just watched videos on the internet and drew knowledge from there. After three months, it started. I consulted with a guy from Okhna, who had previously done something similar. This tractor runs on gasoline, and we will still be testing its power. I just took it out for the first time,” shared Karabashev.

Karabashev is 54 years old and is the father of four sons.

The village of Arpa-Sai belongs to the rural district of Maidan.
