According to information from the press service of the regional police, employees of the criminal investigation department of the Issyk-Kul regional police have initiated a large-scale campaign aimed at preventing cases of internet fraud in the region.
As part of this campaign, police officers are organizing meetings with the public in institutions, schools, and public places. At these meetings, they provide citizens with recommendations on how to protect themselves from online scammers, as well as distribute special brochures and informational leaflets.
Representatives of the Issyk-Kul regional police stated that protecting citizens from fraud and preventing such crimes are among their top priorities. They hope that through this campaign, local residents will be able to enhance their cybersecurity.
