Beknazarov spoke out against the initiative for early presidential elections

Azimbek Beknazarov, known by the nickname "bulldozer of the revolution," criticized supporters of early presidential elections. In a recent video address, he touched upon a list of 75 activists who called on President Sadyr Japarov to expedite the electoral process.

According to Beknazarov, there is no need for such elections. He noted that the country is currently experiencing rare tranquility, and both the political and economic situations are stable. He believes that suddenly called elections could disrupt this fragile balance and provoke unnecessary disagreements among citizens.

The politician also emphasized the initiators of the appeal. He admitted to having phone conversations with some of the signatories, and the results of his survey disappointed him.

“I became curious about what motivated them. And what do you think? Many openly admitted that they hadn't even read the text of the appeal. They just signed it out of habit. It's classic: 'Oh, I signed without understanding.' People keep making the same mistakes,” he noted with irony.

In conclusion of his speech, Beknazarov emphasized that the initiative for early elections is an attempt to undermine the stability of the state for someone’s personal interests.
