At the Ötmäk Pass, traffic jams have formed due to a sharp deterioration in weather conditions, making it difficult for trucks and minibuses to move.

According to witnesses, on February 11 at around 14:30, they left Bishkek and are currently at the pass. "On the highway, we can see that trucks and Sprinters are unable to climb the hill, creating a traffic jam. Mainly, only passenger cars are passing through. Road service workers are clearing the road and spreading a sand and gravel mixture," the witnesses reported.
