In his first speech as the speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh, Marlen Mamataliyev expressed gratitude to President Sadyr Japarov and his fellow deputies for the trust placed in him.
“My goal is to use all my knowledge and efforts for the benefit of our country. We will act as a united team. Under the leadership of the president, reforms are being implemented that have contributed to improving the economic situation, strengthening anti-corruption measures, and enhancing Kyrgyzstan's international image. The Jogorku Kenesh has also played an important role in this,” Mamataliyev noted.
He also emphasized the importance of an equal approach to all deputies and residents of the regions.
“Our country must remain united, without divisions by regions. I intend to personally visit the constituencies and address the citizens' issues. Over the course of the year, I plan to travel to all 30 constituencies,” the speaker added.
