At a recent meeting, the speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh, Marlen Mamataliyev, met with the heads of the Parliament's Apparatus and department heads.
According to the press service of the parliament, the first deputy speaker Chyngyz Azhybaev was also present at the meeting.
During the meeting, the speaker outlined a number of key tasks, focusing on the need for digitalization of processes in the parliament.
“A significant amount of paper is used in the process of legislative activity and document management. This practice should be eliminated, and the emphasis should be placed on digital technologies,” he noted.
Furthermore, Mamataliyev emphasized that important issues and societal problems should be discussed in the parliament in the presence of all interested parties, rather than outside its walls.
The speaker also proposed to create a special discussion platform in the Jogorku Kenesh, expressing a desire to actively participate in its work.
