Attention was also drawn to the spread of drugs via the internet.
Special emphasis was placed on measures to combat cybercrime in the context of growing digitalization and the need to improve cooperation between government agencies and the private sector for more effective responses to cyber threats.
The meeting demonstrated the commitment of Kyrgyzstan's government structures to combat cybercrime and drug trafficking among children. The importance of increasing citizens' digital literacy was highlighted to raise awareness of potential online threats.
The General Prosecutor's Office urges citizens to be cautious when communicating with strangers online, to refrain from providing personal information, passwords, and bank card details, and to inform their loved ones about the risks of cybercrime and methods of protection against fraudsters.
Upon detecting the first signs of fraud, it is recommended to immediately contact law enforcement agencies to prevent further losses.
