An incident occurred in a massage parlor in the city of Osh. Three men, who introduced themselves as police officers, entered the establishment without presenting any identification. They conducted illegal searches and exhibited aggression towards the owner, as reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The criminals stole 32,000 soms in cash and began demanding additional money. One of them, who called himself "Marcel," then received another 15,000 soms and started receiving weekly transfers of 10,000 soms to his electronic wallet, promising "protection" from further problems. In total, the amount of damage amounted to 77,000 soms.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 208 (extortion) of the Criminal Code of Kyrgyzstan.
As a result of operational measures, employees of the Internal Investigations Service detained one of the suspects, citizen K. uulu N., born in 1993, while he was receiving another cash amount.
It turned out that the detainee has no relation to law enforcement agencies and is suspected of committing other similar crimes.
Currently, K. uulu N. is in the temporary detention facility of the Internal Affairs Department of the city of Osh, while efforts to detain the other two suspects are ongoing.
The investigation is ongoing.
