According to preliminary data, there were about 40-45 passengers on the "Setra" bus. Local residents who witnessed the incident expressed their dissatisfaction on social media regarding the negligence of animal owners who leave their pets unattended near busy roads at night.
The Internal Affairs Department of the Issyk-Kul region confirmed the information about the accident. On the evening of February 13, 2026, at approximately 21:43, a westbound bus collided with a horse that suddenly appeared on the road. An investigative operational group was dispatched to the scene to determine the circumstances of the incident.
Fortunately, none of the passengers were injured; however, the bus sustained serious mechanical damage, resulting in significant material losses.
Currently, law enforcement agencies are continuing the investigation into this incident.
