Messages about the detention of the deputy were spreading on social media
In response to the rumors that emerged, the Jogorku Kenesh denied the information about the detention of deputy Shairbek Tashiev. The parliament emphasized that no documents regarding his arrest had been received.
Initially, social media reported that the MP had been arrested. However, these reports were later refuted, and it became known that Shairbek Tashiev is currently outside of Kyrgyzstan.
It is worth noting that the arrest of a deputy requires the consent of his colleagues, which must be obtained through voting. Exceptions are made in cases where the suspect is detained at the scene of the crime; in such cases, notification of the Jogorku Kenesh is mandatory, and permission from the deputies is required to conduct investigative actions.
