In the Jayil district of the Chui region, in the Suusamyr Valley, rescuers and volunteers have been searching for a man who was trapped under a snow avalanche in the Boroondoo pasture for the fifth day now.

Local residents are actively assisting in the search and have provided video recordings from the scene. According to them, the conditions for the rescuers' work are extremely challenging, but hope for a successful outcome remains.

As reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the search operations are ongoing without a moment's pause. Rescuers are collaborating with local residents, which contributes to a more effective conduct of the operation.

The incident occurred on February 12, when an avalanche covered a 59-year-old man, as well as his horse and a herd of 50 sheep.

At the moment, the search and rescue team continues to survey the pasture area.
